Ce terme désigne aussi la classe des dérivés hydroxylés, méthoxylés, et les formes hétérosidiques du stilbène ou ses polymères
- exemple : le trans-resvératrol du raisin
- Autres : pinosylvine, sésamine, piceatannol, rhapontine, ponticine, trans-picéide, astringine, ononétine
